Perfect if you produce EDM, but if you're a songwriter, information technology'southward unusable. Logic is ten times ameliorate at half the toll. I'd rather turn down work on film scores if I had to use this DAW.

Ableton ten public beta is released. Although Ableton 9 is one of the best DAW ever fabricated to unleash your creativity. Ableton 10 doesn't really add that much new. It has some improvements and nice new delay plugins but that'south it. No new innovative features or better mastering abilities and no meliorate organization editor. IMO information technology is a mist alter to put it in side by side gear. At present it just cruises at same speed. Only I volition upgrade for sure. It'south is however the all-time DAW for my needs.

Ableton is so impressive. Switched from a PC recently and could no longer use FL Studio, which turned out to be such a cute change in my life. Outstanding!
Vivid DAW that surpasses any other by offering huge inventiveness features. Information technology is so versatile and piece of cake to grab, only you are the limitation of doing great things with it. Past far the best DAW with by far the all-time music making customs !

Absolutely the best and most creative DAW every made. The work menstruum enables and invites every musician to exist creative with high standard quality. All offered plugins are insanely useful and give great control of what you desire to achieve. One thing I recall is 'troublesome ' is mastering with Live. I still think Logic ProX has the upper hand for doing this. Still, Ableton Alive is a must accept tool for mod musicians. Essential for sure ! Notation worthy: it works bang-up with UAD-two plugins. With the thunderbolt version it has virtually zero latency which is truly amazing. Something yous cannot say virtually Reaper or Cubase. Both have issues with latency with UAD hardware.
Although i have a MacUpdate paid account the MacUpdate install it NOW is not working for me. And i practice accept Ableton Live version 9.1.vi installed but just wanted to test the services of MacUpdate with no luck. OH, by the way still give Ableton Live a five star rating although it is non my favorite DAW in my tool box o f DAW's i own/utilise.

The new version is surprisingly compatible both with plugs and OS X versions with Intel 10.5 every bit the oldest. I run Ableton Live Suite 9 on 10.6.8 and the new version ix features fit very well into what you lot already know about Live from version 8. And so far I oasis't establish major issues though 3rd party plug-ins may demand updating. I utilize VST-plugs only at the moment: I find speed to be acceptable, only haven't measured anything however. Of all the new features the Sound to MIDI yields very interesting results. I'm loving it. I will post a more detailed report later.

I haven't really given this a rating earlier?! v Stars in minimum. One of the most creative music apps available. Really this ways information technology helps you to be creative and to concentrate on your product - not that the app itself tries to be creative, similar many other tools. Simply experiment, jam, tape and y'all will merely dearest how it works. This is how creating music should exist understood.
what can I say.. its practically my life line. The graphics are timeless.

This DAW is past far the best yous tin can get your hands on. Admitting the GUI could be more bling-bling akin like Cubase or Logic but it works very intuitive still. Making arrangements is one of its strengths. Never seen before in some other DAW. If y'all brand music this is what you need. Period
